YOUTH VOLUNTEERS

What is the program?

The Youth Volunteering Program (YVP) is an opportunity for undergraduate and postgraduate University students to engage in public health to make tangible long-term change on a local and global scale. Students are provided the opportunity to work with healthcare workers across the globe, develop public health projects, deliver health education workshops, fundraise, and much more! YVP volunteers also assist in mentoring the VCE volunteers, whilst collaborating with and being mentored by the Healthcare Team.

As with our VVP, the YVP is focused on creating long-term solutions to overcome challenges in global health and education. Beyond University, volunteers are encouraged to join the HIF Management and/or Healthcare Team to continue our fight for global health equity.
